Buscopan is a trusted antispasmodic medication containing hyoscine butylbromide 10mg. It works by relaxing the cramping muscles of the stomach and bowel to relieve abdominal pain and discomfort caused by cramp or spasm. Buscopan is the most frequently recommended treatment for stomach cramps by South African pharmacists. Suitable for adults and children over 6 years. Dosage: 1–2 tablets three times daily; do not exceed 60mg per day. Each tablet is sugar-coated for ease of swallowing.
